The PMO Network was founded from a simple, yet powerful belief: leadership should create clarity, not complexity.

After beginning her corporate career in 1997, Lori A. Franklin spent nearly three decades serving in progressive leadership roles, from administrative leadership to project management and ultimately leading a Project Management Office. Throughout her journey, she witnessed the same challenges across organizations: disconnected teams, competing priorities, ineffective communication, and PMOs that often-emphasized process over purpose.

She also experienced something different.

When leaders aligned strategy with execution, empowered their teams, removed barriers, and focused on delivering value, organizations achieved meaningful and lasting transformation.

Those experiences became the foundation of The PMO Network.

Lori established The PMO Network to create a community where PMO leaders, project managers, executives, and business professionals could learn from one another, challenge conventional thinking, and prepare for the future of professional management. Her vision was centered on a modern philosophy, that today's PMO is not defined by governance alone, but by leadership, strategy, transformation, and measurable business outcomes.

Lori has continued to evolve the organization beyond the traditional Project Management Office model into what she defines as a Professional Management Organization, one that equips leaders to think strategically, lead confidently, and transform organizations with purpose.

Today, The PMO Network serves organizations, executive leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals through executive consulting, leadership development, governance, AI readiness, organizational transformation, and immersive learning experiences. Every program, workshop, and engagement reflects the founding belief that effective leadership is built through clarity, collaboration, continuous learning, and intentional action.
